Eduroam (Education Roaming) is an initiative of TERENA that facilitates the mobility of researchers offering Wi-Fi connection in their displacement to other institutions connected to Géant. This way, students, researchers and staff from participating institutions have Internet access through wireless networks of other participating institutions.
The connection will be over the wireless network using the 802.1x standard and with the same username (including the domain, e.g. [email protected]) and the same password that you use at your institution.
Authentication uses TTLS with PAP end the encryption is WPA + TKIP or WPA2 + AES if it use 802.11n.
