It aspires to inspire young girls who want to pursue a career in the STEM disciplines, framed in the Government of Catalonia\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/smartcatalonia.gencat.cat\/web\/ca\/projectes\/ciutadania\/detalls\/article\/donaTIC.cat#bloc2\">DonaTIC program<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>From the 17 projects selected, 15 were awarded 1.500 \u20ac to be developed during the summer. From these 15 summer camps, three were selected as the winners of this year\u2019s edition Challenge. Joan Manel Martin, Managing Director of the i2CAT Foundation, announced the second position in the event, held virtually.<\/p>\n<p>The winners were:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1st<\/strong> <strong>place<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cAutomatitzaci\u00f3 del reg amb micro:bit\u201d (RobotSitges)<\/p>\n<p>This project wishes to improve vine irrigation systems with electronic devices and avoid plagues and diseases. This summer camp is the only one that achieved 100% of feminine participants.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2nd place<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cCampus Tecnol\u00f2gic Tria\u201d (Fundaci\u00f3 Comtal de Barcelona)<\/p>\n<p>This summer camp offered a completely virtual summer camp with 83% of feminine participation. The totality of its places was occupied by vulnerable groups.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3rd place<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cAny 2230.
