{"id":8538,"date":"2019-11-04T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-11-03T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/i2cat.net\/i2cat-participates-in-the-first-annual-forum-of-the-observatorio-nacional-5g\/"},"modified":"2019-11-04T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2019-11-03T23:00:00","slug":"i2cat-participates-in-the-first-annual-forum-of-the-observatorio-nacional-5g","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/i2cat.net\/ca\/i2cat-participates-in-the-first-annual-forum-of-the-observatorio-nacional-5g\/","title":{"rendered":"i2CAT participates in the First Annual Forum of the Observatorio Nacional 5G"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Rosa Paradell, Innovation Business Development manager, took part in the roundtable \u20185G in the economic sectors: the impact of a new connectivity\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Last October 22<sup>nd<\/sup>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/on5g.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Observatorio Nacional 5G<\/strong><\/a>, an initiative promoted by <a href=\"https:\/\/mobileworldcapital.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Mobile World Capital Barcelona<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and the <strong>Spanish Ministry of Economy and \u00a0Business<\/strong> through the <strong>Secretariat for Digital Advancement<\/strong> and <a href=\"https:\/\/red.es\/redes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Red.es<\/strong><\/a>, gathered the Spanish 5G ecosystem in its <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mobileworldcapital.com\/es\/press\/espana-al-frente-de-los-pilotos-5g-en-europa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">First Annual Forum<\/a><\/strong> to tackle the challenges and opportunities that this technology represents for both the economy and industry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rosa Paradell, Innovation Business Development manager<\/strong> at i2CAT was one of the members of the roundtable <strong>\u20185G in the economic sectors: the impact of a new connectivity\u2019<\/strong>, moderated by AMETIC and composed by representatives of Anteverti, COIT and Grupo Bosch.<\/p>\n<p>The event was attended by the Spanish Minister for Economy and \u00a0Business, <strong>Nadia Calvi\u00f1o<\/strong>, as well as <strong>Francisco Polo<\/strong>, Secretary of State for Digital Advancement; <strong>Federico Ruiz<\/strong>, director of the Observatorio Nacional 5G, and <strong>Carlos Grau<\/strong>, CEO of Mobile World Capital.<\/p>\n<p>The Forum concluded that <strong>83% of European H2020 projects on 5G have Spanish participation<\/strong>, which represents an investment of 56 million euro by the European Commission.
