Along these lines, at SCEWC, you will be able to learn about the solutions developed to help companies in the IT sector deploy <strong>V2X applications<\/strong> (vehicle-to-vehicle and infrastructure communication) that are fully <strong>adaptable <\/strong>and suitable for <strong>proof of concept<\/strong> in real environments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Artificial Intelligence to detect traffic risks <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i2cat.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Captura-de-pantalla-2022-07-08-095819.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"320\" height=\"180\">Within an initiative of the <em>Center of Innovation for Data tech and Artificial Intelligence<\/em> (<a href=\"https:\/\/cidai.eu\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CIDAI<\/a>), the i2CAT Foundation has led the development of a system for detecting risks and traffic flows on urban and interurban roads based on artificial intelligence and big data. The research has been aimed, on the one hand, at the proactive prevention of traffic accidents by identifying situations of risk and, on the other hand, at analysing traffic flows to detect anomalous behavior and reduce traffic jams. The Center for Telecommunications and Information Technologies (<a href=\"https:\/\/ctti.gencat.cat\/ca\/ctti\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CTTI<\/a>), Eurecat and Microsoft collaborated on this project.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Security and privacy in a connected environment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i2cat.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/Imagen1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"443\" height=\"249\"><\/p>\n<p>Within the European project <a href=\"https:\/\/www.h2020caramel.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CARAMEL<\/a> (Artificial Intelligence-based cybersecurity for connected and automated vehicles), framed in the Horizon 2020 call and which has just presented its conclusions, the i2CAT Foundation has led the implementation of a system of vehicle-to-vehicle and infrastructure communication protocols (V2X) with the primary objective of detecting and mitigating attacks that an autonomous vehicle may receive and that may compromise its security.<\/p>\n<p>i2CAT Foundation will be <strong>at the Catalonia Pavillion<\/strong> <strong>(HALL 2, E61, Booth 16).<\/strong>&nbsp; You can find all the information about i2CAT&#8217;s participation and the congress <a href=\"https:\/\/i2cat.net\/scewc-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Let\u2019s cooperate and build the digital future together!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La Fundaci\u00f3 i2CAT participa en una nova edici\u00f3 del congr\u00e9s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smartcityexpo.com\/\" data-wplink-edit=\"true\"><strong>Smart City Expo World Congress<\/strong><\/a>, que tindr\u00e0 lloc a la Fira Gran Via del 15 al 17 de novembre, per per mostrar com les tecnologies d\u2019<strong>intel\u00b7lig\u00e8ncia artificial<\/strong> i les <strong>comunicacions vehiculars (V2X)<\/strong> faran possible un <strong>model de mobilitat m\u00e9s intel\u00b7ligent i sostenible<\/strong> a les ciutats i ajudaran a millorar la qualitat de vida de les persones.<\/p>\n<p>Les <strong>administracions <\/strong>i <strong>empreses <\/strong>assistents al congr\u00e9s tindran l\u2019oportunitat de descobrir diversos projectes basats en tecnologies innovadores que ajudaran a <strong>desenvolupar accions de prevenci\u00f3 a la carretera, <\/strong>a reduir les <strong>emissions de gasos contaminants<\/strong>, o a <strong>optimitzar els fluxos de tr\u00e0nsit<\/strong> en vies urbanes i interurbanes.<\/p>\n<p>La Fundaci\u00f3 i2CAT compta tamb\u00e9 amb una \u00e0mplia expertesa en <strong>mobilitat aut\u00f2noma i connectada<\/strong>.
