El grup de recerca Xarxes Mòbils (MWI) se centra en dos àmbits principals: i) l’arquitectura 6G i ii) els sistemes de transport intel·ligent (ITS). Pel que fa a l’arquitectura 6G, MWI desenvolupa recerca capdavantera en: i) NTN, ii) O-RAN i iii) API de suport a serveis verticals. En l’àmbit ITS, MWI se centra en: i) desenvolupar estratègies cooperatives CCAM basades en l’ús d’ETSI-G5 i ii) crear bessons vehiculars que ajudin els gestors viaris a aplicar estratègies de gestió intel·ligent del trànsit.
