Description

Hospital Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona leads this project which ensures the success of speech rehabilitation therapies at the patient’s home through telemedicine. Intelligent systems suggest therapy steps and adapt to the patient’s evolution through voice recognition systems.

During the execution of the project, i2CAT has coordinated the technological migration of the Patient Portal, also improving the current functionality in order to improve the service’s care coordination and the management of groups. i2CAT has also led the mobile development of the functionalities offered by the Patient Portal, as well as making other services available to users, such as information on the different hospital services, location of the different areas inside the hospital or a recommendations channel to share applications that can be of interest to users.

  • Better results and experience for the patient, overcoming limitations in terms of time and movement in comparison with face-to-face therapy and facilitating autonomous treatment.

Health professionals:

  • A permanent follow-up of treatment and better management of patients and their activities.
  • Reliable information about results and development of remote therapy.
