Advanced Digital Technologies International Student Workshop

March 4 // March 8

Would you like to delve deeper into the current state of advanced digital technologies and learn about their potential future uses?

The i2CAT Foundation is organizing a five-day workshop for 15 doctoral students and early-stage postdocs who will be able to spend five days in Barcelona exploring cutting-edge research topics focused on 5G/6G, IoT, AI, immersive communications, and advanced digital technologies.

The workshop will consist of a set of demos and seminars at the i2CAT premises and a tour of some of Barcelona’s best research centres and Universities, such as UPC, ICFO, UOC, Eurecat and Leitat. Students will get an overview of the different research projects held at these institutions and visit their labs and seminars dedicated to current and future research directions.

Participation is limited to students currently enrolled in European universities outside of Spain and focusing on electrical and electronic engineering, and related knowledge areas. The workshop will cover flight costs, accommodation, and lunch.
