Gender equality at i2CAT

The center sets strategic alliances with private companies and the innovation ecosystem.

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development places the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics as the leading promoters of more inclusive and friendly societies.

The report “Women in Catalonia 2023” by Institut Català de les Dones shows that the presence of women in the ICT sector has stagnated at 30% since 2019. Therefore, we must continue working towards equal opportunities for people, regardless of gender.

i2CAT works to build a future digital society committed to reducing the gender gap in the ICT sector.

Equality Commission

i2CAT’s Equality Commission and Anti-Harassment Committee ensure and guarantee equal treatment and equal opportunities between genders at i2CAT, both in the profession's development and professional promotion.
