The course is addressed at students that already have a digital social innovation or lab idea and who want to materialize it

The i2CAT Foundation, together with the University of Barcelona, Citilab, and the Ministry for Digital Policy and Public Administration of the Government of Catalonia are promoting a master course on design and direction of labs for digital social innovation projects (DSI) that will start next February 2021.

The master is part of the University of Barcelona curriculum and will take place entirely online. It has a duration of a year (60 ECTS) and the classes will be in Catalan and Spanish.

The Didilabs master is a course for professionals, created to prepare and qualify a new generation of people that will strengthen the DSI laboratories that are currently being deployed in Catalonia. It is in line with the Digital Policy strategy of the Government of Catalonia, as well as with the objectives of the Horizon Europe 2021-2027 strategy by the European Commission and the Sustainable Development Objectives of the UN.

Digital social transformation is a disruptive change for our social structures. We have a digitalized society, but we still haven’t changed it. The DSI labs and networks of labs will empower citizens within digital societies, opening current innovation systems around the world. Didilabs’ faculty includes 51 experts in several areas, 7 of them are in advanced digital technologies and Digital Social Innovation from the i2CAT Foundation.
