Plenty of social innovation labs have been created in Catalonia in recent years. These new spaces require specialized professionals:

  • Designers and curators to manage and create the projects.
  • Social and digital facilitators to execute the projects.

The Master in design and management of labs and social innovation projects is aimed at training this new generation of professionals. The initiative is promoted by the i2CAT Foundation and the University of Barcelona (UB) with the collaboration of Citilab.

2020-21 academic year

The first edition of the Master will take place on October 2020

Is structured in three blocks:

  • Knowledge: provides the conceptual framework of participation systems and social and digital innovation ecosystems.
  • Experience: workshops to be able to design, direct and advise on projects for the creation of labs on topics such as innovation, management, dynamization, and financing.
  • Projects: the design of a social innovation lab, the creation of a community of people linked to this lab, and the design of a schedule of activities.
*Applicants have to come with a specific project idea or a need.
