The i2CAT Foundation has two PhD open positions for the 5GSmartFact project

The 5GSmartFact project opens 14 PhD Marie Skłodowska-Curie researcher positions in Industry 4.0 enabled by 5G in several locations across Europe

5GSmartFact is an MSCA-ITN European Industrial Doctorate that features a consortium of academia (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Aalborg University), research centers (i2CAT, Centre National pour la Recherche Scientifique), 5G companies (NEC, Nokia, Siradel), and companies in factory automation (ABB, Robert Bosch, Ingeniarius, Roboception), together with supporting institutions (ESADE, Universidade de Coimbra, Université Paris-Saclay).

Contracts will be full-time, have a 3-year duration, and include social security coverage. Selected candidates will embark on a doctorate program, share their time between at least two of the entities of the consortium, and benefit from high-quality academic and industrial training and networking activities. Competitive salaries are offered.
