Antonio Calvo García del Valle

Antonio is a Telecommunications Engineer specialized in Image and Sound. He combined his final university years with a professional music career, working both in technical roles and as a performer. He spent five years at Axians Spain integrating TV headends and backend SW for major operators and delivering video, videoconferencing and digital signage solutions. He then joined Atos as a researcher in Media and Edge Computing, contributing to European projects on decentralized video platforms, transcoding workflows and software for the Atos HPC suite. For the past year, he has worked at i2CAT’s MediaTech area as a project manager and team lead, focusing on backend development for volumetric video conferencing systems within European research projects.
