i. Role and Responsibilities at i2CAT
I support the PMO's Pre-Award workload, contributing my expertise in comprehensive proposal management. This includes the preparation, drafting, and coordination of partners for the submission of competitive national and international projects, as well as economic control through call analysis and the review and compliance of budgets.

ii. Skills and Areas of Expertise
I am a Senior professional with over 20 years in project management and 10 years specializing in pre-award at research centers. This trajectory provides me with deep, crucial knowledge for the PMO area. My expertise includes consolidating research groups, helping them identify the funding needed for their group and new ideas and projects, through the preparation of complex proposals and budgets, the analysis of European Commission and national Calls, and strict financial compliance.

iii. Contributions and Notable Projects
I maintained a success rate above 70% managing more than 70 proposals annually at IRB Barcelona. I also led the implementation of a custom SAP module to optimize grant tracking, significantly improving data management efficiency. Furthermore, I created and implemented the Calls Portal to facilitate access to funding opportunities.

My career path before joining this team includes key positions as Pre-Award Officer at IRB Barcelona, Grants Specialist at CRG, CNAG, and Management Technician at IREC.
