Artur Serra

Artur Serra is the Deputy Director of the i2CAT Research Centre. His primary responsibility is to lead the centre’s open innovation strategy, fostering its global positioning and driving high-impact technology transfer, connecting research, industry, and international initiatives, especially within the European context.

Artur brings solid experience in the digital ecosystem, with a focus on Digital Strategy and Internet Governance. Before joining i2CAT, he was instrumental in network infrastructure development, serving as the Director of Network Development at the Internet Society (ISOC) and participating in the creation of ICANN's Top-Level Domain Council. This trajectory validates his capacity to drive major projects that utilise technology as an engine for social transformation.
