Media Player Synchronisation Technology

With the rise of social TV, OTT platforms, and multi-device media consumption, keeping multiple screens in perfect sync has become a significant challenge. Time lags and desynchronized playback reduce the quality of the viewing experience, especially in live or collaborative settings.

Sync-X is a technology that ensures seamless, synchronised playback across multiple devices in shared media sessions. It combines a suite of software modules, including the Session Manager, Sync Manager, Clock Sync Server, and Sync Client, to deliver frame-accurate synchronisation in any media environment. It can be offered as a SaaS solution, adaptable for a wide range of platforms.

Sync-X has already been tested and validated in real-world environments. In 2023, Sync-X was deployed in “Eufòria” – an entertainment program on Catalonia’s regional TV (TV3), the most-watched TV channel in Spain – ensuring a flawless, synchronised media experience for viewers. Its success in this high-demand environment demonstrates its potential for widespread use in entertainment and broadcasting.
