*Javier Jordán Parra* holds a Telecommunications Engineering degree (1998) and a Master's in Photonics (2019). He began his career leading network engineering and deployment teams at *Orange* for over a decade. Since joining the *i2CAT Foundation* in 2019, he has focused on strategic projects in 5G/6G, SDN, {_}Edge Computing{_}, and {*}Quantum Technologies{*}. His quantum contributions include deploying *QKD testbeds* (with *ICFO* under {*}QIA{*}) and integrating QKD keys into cryptographic software (under {*}QuantumCAT{*}). Currently, as a key member of the *Space Communications* group, his research targets the architecture and protocols for the future {*}Quantum Internet{*}. He works primarily on integrating QKD into *satellite networks* and defining its role in {*}6G Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN){*}. He also coordinates the *"6GSatNET"* project, responsible for the QKD service integration activity within the 6G/NTN environment.
