Event
i2CAT Research Centre and Barcelona-Catalunya Centre Logístic (BCL) are promoting an AI matchmaking session for innovation in the logistics sector. The event aims to connect digitalisation challenges within the logistics industry with innovative solutions from technology companies belonging to the Digital Catalonia Alliance (DCA).
This initiative is part of the Catalonia AI 2030 Strategy, features the participation of the DCA, and receives funding from the RETECH programme.
The matchmaking session is an opportunity for BCL logistics companies to discover new technological solutions that foster innovation and competitiveness by solving specific business challenges. The DCA drives the participation of its member companies to showcase their solutions and generate new business and collaboration opportunities.
The event is designed to activate open innovation dynamics and connect two key figures in the sector:
Leading logistics companies with specific technological needs.
Startups and DCA providers with the capacity to offer disruptive solutions.
This session aims to be a space for knowledge transfer where real opportunities are identified, and collaborative projects and applied use cases are promoted.
The matchmaking focuses on Artificial Intelligence as a transformative pillar for the logistics sector. By applying this technology, companies will be able to:
Optimise processes and improve operational efficiency.
Drive internal innovation through high-impact collaborations.
Consolidate competitiveness in a digital and globalised market.
The session will be based on specific challenges defined according to the real needs and concerns expressed by the participating logistics companies. This approach ensures that the proposed AI solutions have a direct and useful impact on daily operations in areas such as supply chain optimisation, process traceability, or quality control.
