Adrián Pérez (b. 1992, Barcelona) is a Telecommunications Engineer with a BSc, MSc, and PhD (cum laude, 2025) in RF Interference and Signal Processing from UPC BarcelonaTech. A member of the UPC NanoSat Lab since 2018, he has specialized in GNSS technologies, RFI detection/mitigation, and satellite systems. His key achievements include engineering roles in the ³Cat-4 and FSSCat missions, ground station design, and leading a 3U CubeSat project that won the GRSS Grand Challenge. His work has spanned GNSS-Reflectometry, Earth Observation, and defense applications. Recent experience includes research at NASA JPL (2023) on SMAP Reflectometry and collaboration with Deimos UK on maritime plastic detection. He is now focusing on the development of space communications and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN).
