I am a researcher in the MWI (Mobile Wireless Internet) department at i2CAT, conducting applied research on 5G/6G architectures, advanced network analytics, and artificial intelligence for immersive communication and low-latency services. My work focuses on intelligent network functions that leverage real-time telemetry, intent-based APIs, and digital-twin models to enhance predictability, service stability, and spectral efficiency.
I have contributed to the 6GXR, 6GOPENVERSO-NET, and 6GDiferente projects, leading tasks involving architectural design, AI-enabled analytics integration, and experimental validation on 5G/6G platforms. Prior to joining i2CAT, I worked in telecommunications engineering and R&D in cellular systems. My research interests include self-optimising networks, network capability exposure, and enabling technologies for the evolution toward 6G.
