Ferran de Cabrera Estanyol

Ferran de Cabrera obtained his B.E. and M.Sc. degrees in telecommunications engineering, and later his Ph.D. in signal theory and communications from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). His doctoral work focused on applying information theory metrics for common signal processing methods in the field of communications. At i2CAT, he is dedicated to research in quantum technologies in the space communications group, and particularly in quantum cryptography.
