Justin Hidalgo Velez

As a Pre-sales Mobility Engineer within i2CAT's IBD area, my role is to bridge our advanced research in connected, cooperative and automated mobility (CCAM) with the strategic needs of the private sector. My key responsibilities involve engaging with partners to understand their technical challenges and architecting solutions that leverage i2CAT's technological capabilities.

My expertise lies in Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) legislation, safety standards, and validation frameworks. This technical foundation, combined with effective stakeholder communication, allows me to translate complex research into business value.

In my previous experience as an R&D Project Engineer, I played a key role in Horizon Europe funded projects like FAME where I helped develop scalable safety assurance frameworks for AVs. My passion for making AV's safe and reliable is central to my work. I am eager to apply my experience to support i2CAT's mission of delivering impactful, real-world technology.
