Marta Miralles Consuegra

Marta Miralles Consuegra holds a PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biomedicine from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She conducted research in gene therapy for neurodegenerative autoimmune diseases, viral vectors production, and immunology. She completed a research stay at the MRC National Institute for Medical Research (UK) and is the author of a patent and several scientific publications.

Her background combines scientific training in biomedicine with project management. Before joining i2CAT as a Post-Award Project Manager, she managed innovation projects at Fundación Leitat, handling the follow-up of funded projects, coordination of multidisciplinary teams and external consultants, and acceleration programs. Previously, at the Vall d’Hebron Institut de Recerca (VHIR), she managed a project portfolio and public-private collaboration contracts.

She brings experience in post-award management, including technical monitoring, operational coordination, and reporting.
