Mr. *Mohamad Hjeij* is a R&D Engineer at i2Cat Foundation (Barcelona, Spain). He received his B.S. and M.S degree in Computer and Communication Engineering in the American University of Science and Technology (Beirut, Lebanon) and another M.S degree in Communications and Management Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC, Spain).He started on June 2022 his PHD programm in i2CAT and UPC for a research about Gamified and Collaborative Experiences in Virtual Environments using Multi- User Holo-Porting Technology and Multimodal Human-Machine Interaction. He has joined i2Cat Foundation in October 2019 for an internship that last till June 2020, and from July 2020 is currently working in the Media Departments taking part of the development team. His topics of interest include medium-Level Programming and Interactive and Immersive Content, as Holoconferencing, Holoportation or volumetric video for AR/XR/VR. He was a developper of the Client of the project VR-Together, and recently finished the European projects MedGaims, also the Project Red.es 5G Catalunya per a PARLEM TELECOM for Catalunya. He is currently envolved in the project of IoT-NGIN, HoloMit assests and his doctoral work.
