Oscar Baselga Lahoz

As a researcher and PhD candidate at i2CAT, I have a technical profile in the field of 5G NTN communications. My career path is distinguished by the combination of a background in computer engineering and knowledge in telecommunications technologies. This synergy allows me to advance in my doctoral thesis while simultaneously contributing to public and private projects, such as 6GSatNet, 6GDIFERENTE, and the NewSpace Strategy of Catalonia. Likewise, I am responsible for developing the IT infrastructure for the Space Communications research group, applying my experience in computer networks, virtualization, and embedded systems. My research activity has been promoted by obtaining a personal FI grant, through which I have been able to delve deeper into the 5G satellite broadband technology sector while aligning my research with i2CAT's mission to contribute to the space industry.
