Reza Mosahebfard
Reza Mosahebfard is a professional researcher in our Software Networks Research Group. Before joining i2CAT, he was a MSCA fellow at Iquadrat (2018-2021), where he contributed to the 5GSTEP-FWD European project. He holds an MSc in Communications Engineering and is currently completing his PhD at UPC.

Reza has contributed to several European and national Spanish projects, including SNS projects (ETHER and SUNRISE-6G), H2020 projects (RESPOND-A and IoT-NGIN), and the Spanish national UNICO project (6GSatNet). He also actively participates in proposal preparations for various European and international calls. His research interests are focused on NFV, SDN, network slicing, and Integrated Terrestrial and Non-Terrestrial Networks (TN-NTN). Reza is an expert in Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, Ryu SDN and OVS, and proficient in Python, MATLAB, and CI/CD tools like GitHub. He specializes in B5G networks simulations, integrated TN-NTN systems emulations, mathematical modeling, and optimization.
