Rizk Allah Touma

Dr. Rizkallah Touma is currently leading the Distributed Data Architectures research line at the i2CAT Foundation (DAI). He has 10+ years of hybrid experience in research institutions and the private sector in the Big Data and data engineering fields and holds a PhD _cum laude_ in Computer Science from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (2019). Dr. Touma has been involved in several H2020 / Horizon Europe projects as a PI and technical lead. His main areas of interest are Data Management in distributed architectures, knowledge management, AI-based optimizations of distributed architectures and Data Spaces.
