Silvia Planella Conrado

Silvia Planella holds a PhD in Business Information Systems from University College Cork (Ireland) and academic training in Communication, Marketing, and Market Research from the University of Barcelona. She also holds a Master’s in E-Business, a Diploma in Data Science, and a Diploma in Digital Business Analysis.
Before specialising in research project management, Silvia developed her career in Ireland in the fields of marketing, data analysis, and IT project management.
Since 2017, her career has focused on managing R&D&I projects in both academic and industrial settings, working for University College Cork, Universitat Rovira i Virgili, ICIQ, and currently i2CAT.
Silvia joined the i2CAT in 2025 as a Pre-Award Projects Manager, focusing on the preparation and management of regional, national, and European research proposals.
