Stefano Beccaletto

Stefano Beccaletto is an R&D Engineer at the i2CAT Foundation in Barcelona. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Verona and an M.Sc. in Software Design & Analysis from the University of Bologna.
He is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in immersive technologies, 3D graphics, prototyping, and driving innovation using design-thinking methodologies. Having worked in Italy, Switzerland, and Belgium, he has contributed to BIM interoperability tools and advanced R&D software solutions.
Stefano currently serves as Technical Project Manager for the Presence Project, supporting WP1, WP5, and WP6 activities, and leading the Use Cases QoE and demo deployments. He also strongly contributed in Horizon Europe projects such as DIDYMOS XR and XRECO.
Additionally, Stefano leads i2CAT’s new XG-XRLab team, which will operate a physical space for Location-Based Virtual Reality (LBVR) experiences launching soon.
