Framed in the Centre Demostrador d’Espais de Dades project, a use case has been developed in the field of mobility, with the aim of optimizing urban traffic management.Terrassa is committed to an innovative and scalable ecosystem that integrates devices, sensors, and data models, while ensuring that data owners retain control and sovereignty over their data throughout the entire value chain.
The main objective has been to manage and define the use of data within a decentralized, secure, and public-private collaboration ecosystem to expand traffic control services. This ecosystem also allows platform providers, digital twins, and traffic models, such as Acisa and Aimsun, to leverage high-quality data sources to develop digital solutions for decision-making in urban traffic optimization.
