6GTWINROAD is an innovative research project led by i2CAT, designed to advance connected and autonomous mobility in urban, inter-urban, and highway environments. Through next-generation 6G technology and real-time digital twins, we’re transforming how vehicles, roadside infrastructure, and networks interact to create a safer and more efficient mobility ecosystem across varied road types.
This subproject focuses on the design based on artificial intelligence and machine learning (IA/ML) techniques of the control plane of network slices, dedicated to V2X/Digital Twin services in a vehicular network with advanced 5G or 6G connectivity and with cloud computing capabilities.
