Barcelona New Economy Week (BNEW) is a hybrid B2B event (both in-person and digital) that brings together unique events from the sectors of Aviation & Space, Health, Gaming, Science, Artificial Intelligence, Agrofood, Talent, and Energy. They share a common denominator: the New Economy.
In addition, it features a program of experiential activities that allow visitors to explore the latest developments in each sector in an immersive way.

Our Head of Innovation - Distributed Artificial Intelligence Research Group, Karla Trejo  is taking part in this session: Advancing Science with AI and Technology in the Age of Immediacy.
The history of science has been shaped by discoveries that required decades of work. However, the emergence of artificial intelligence is changing the pace of progress, enabling the resolution of complex problems, accelerating research, and opening new frontiers of knowledge. This session will explore how AI and emerging technologies are amplifying human capabilities, transforming the way we conduct research, innovate, and make decisions, and ushering in a new era in which the time between a question and an answer can be reduced from years to hours.
