i2CAT has a leading position in the research and development of digital advanced technologies, both at a local and international scale.

Proof of i2CAT’s research quality is its key role within the European R&D ecosystem. The center has carried out 8 5G projects out of the total 37 funded by the European Commission and coordinates 3 projects on Virtual and Immersive technologies.
