Applications Open for Incuba Talent Digital, the New Incubation Program to Boost High-Impact Digital Projects in the Region

The initiative offers up to 11 months of training, mentoring, and technological support, and includes a phase with direct funding of €15,000 for the 10 most outstanding projects

Until January 11, 2026, startups and entrepreneurs with an idea, prototype, or project to develop; local companies with innovative projects; and professionals interested in establishing their initiatives in municipalities linked to the Nuclear Transition Fund area can apply to Incuba Talent Digital. This comprehensive incubation program is designed to support early-stage digital projects and create innovation opportunities in the region. For nearly a year, the creators of the selected projects will receive specialized training, expert mentoring, and financial support to transform their ideas into impactful technological solutions.

Incuba Talent Digital is promoted by the Secretariat of Digital Policies of the Department of Enterprise and Labor within the framework of the Nuclear Transition Fund (FTN), which aims to support the economic and social transformation of territories affected by the gradual closure of the Ascó and Vandellòs nuclear plants. The program is developed in collaboration with the i2CAT Research Center and StartSud.

Training, Mentorship, and Funding for Digital Projects

The program is structured in two consecutive phases, guiding participants from business model validation to the creation of a functional prototype. In the first phase, a committee will select 15 projects that will receive six months of intensive training, individual mentoring, and strategic guidance to consolidate their value proposition.

At the end of this period, a committee will evaluate the projects and select 10 to advance to the second phase. In this stage, each selected initiative will receive €15,000 in funding, 90 hours of technological consulting from i2CAT, and five months of acceleration support. The goal is for teams to validate their solutions in real-world environments, strengthen their viability, and increase their growth potential.

Projects will be particularly valued if they demonstrate a clear impact on the region, growth potential, focus on digital innovation, and integration of a gender perspective. Selected participants will have access to intensive training, individual mentoring, strategic consulting, and support to foster co-creation and collaboration with other local stakeholders.
