Alexandre Sanchez Casals

Alexandre has completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering with a specialization in Computation at FIB (Barcelona School of Informatics). As part of Alexandre's undergraduate program, a Bachelor's Thesis was developed in collaboration with i2Cat.Before joining i2Cat, Alexandre worked as a junior consultant in helpdesk support and front-end web development. Alexandre possesses knowledge in the utilization of various AI and Data Science technologies, including Python libraries such as Scikit-learn, Tensorflow, Pandas, and Matplotlib, as well as ElasticSearch.Within i2Cat, Alexandre is a member of the Distributed Artificial Intelligence (DAI) department. Initially, Alexandre participated in the SIEVA project, focusing on the AI empowerment of threat pattern detection, as part of the Bachelor's Thesis. Presently, Alexandre collaborates with Simon in various areas related to audio recognition, specifically in sound event detection and keyword spotting in Catalan.
