Director - Space Communications Research Group
Telecommunications Engineer with a BSc, MSc, and PhD (cum laude, 2021) in Earth Observation instrument design for small satellites from UPC BarcelonaTech. He’s currently the Director of Space Communications at i2CAT, driving research and innovation in 6G Non-Terrestrial Networks and future Space-Quantum Networks. Former NASA/JPL employee having worked at the ISS Cold Atom Laboratory, the Goldstone Solar System Radar, and part of the SMAP science team. Former member of UPC NanoSatLab, having led multiple missions (3Cat-1, 3Cat-2, 3Cat-4 and FSSCat), two of them under ESA direction.
