Post-award Grant Officer
Research Project Manager with extensive experience in the administrative, legal, and financial management of competitive research. Holder of a Master's degree in Integrated Project Management from the Universitat de Barcelona, PRINCE2 Foundation certified, and holding a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
My professional career has developed across Paris, Madrid—including missions in African countries—and finally Barcelona, where I began my journey in R&D management in 2006 as Operations Manager for a 45-person research group at the UPF and financial coordinator of a €17M European project under the 6th Framework Programme (FP6). Over the last twenty years, I have held management roles at IFAE (UAB), Eurecat, and ISGlobal. I also collaborated as Project Manager on the BBHI study at Institut Guttmann, under the scientific direction of Dr. Pascual-Leone (Harvard), and supported IDIBAPS - Hospital Clínic in coordinating projects focused on health risk assessment tools. Since 2020, I have been part of i2CAT, initially in Post-Award as ALF Manager for several coordinated European projects, and currently in the R&D Competitive Opportunities and Strategic Services area, contributing my expertise to the preparation of competitive proposals at all levels (EU, national, Regional Government of Catalonia), ensuring smooth and efficient management between researchers, consortia, and funding bodies.
