Moaad is a Doctoral Candidate at the i2CAT Foundation, jointly with the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain, and a researcher within the MSCA DN GENOME project. He holds a Diplôme d'Ingénieur in Data Science from EURECOM and studied at the Technical University of Munich.

His current research focuses on the intelligence of future 6G networks. By deploying artificial intelligence at the network edge, he is working to create autonomous, intent-driven ecosystems where networks can intelligently reason, negotiate, and self-manage.

Prior to joining i2CAT, Moaad built a strong foundation at the intersection of AI and telecommunications:

  • Professional Experience: Completed engineering and research internships at Amadeus, EURECOM, and OpenAirInterface, focusing on applied machine learning and 5G networks.
  • Scientific Contributions: Co-authored research papers accepted at international conferences, including IntelliSys 2025 and RecTour 2025.
