Pouria Sayyad Khodashenas, PhD, is Director of the Software Networks Research Group at i2CAT Foundation and Chair of the 5G/6G for Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) Working Group at 6G-IA, with over 15 years of international experience in telecommunications research and innovation. He leads projects in 5G/6G networks, edge computing, and service-based architectures. PhD in Telecommunications from UPC with the Best PhD Award, he has advised MIT on 5G and edge computing and was a 6G expert at Huawei Sweden. He has coordinated European projects such as H2020 CARAMEL and Horizon Europe Zero-SWARM, contributing to standards bodies including 3GPP SA2, 5G-ACIA, 5GAA, One6G, and 6GIA, with over 100 publications and 1,800 citations.
